Pelvic Health for Life

If there’s an ideal time to start talking about your pelvic floor and pelvic health, it’s probably in childhood and adolescence! But it’s also great to think about having a baby or during pregnancy.

Pregnancy and childbirth amazing events, but they are also the greatest risk factors for pelvic floor dysfunction. Up to 1/2 of all women experience pelvic floor issues at some point in their lives after having a baby.

The good news is: help is always here! After you’ve had a baby is also a great time to work on your pelvic floor. And no matter how long you’ve struggled with pelvic floor challenges (4 months or 4 decades!) it’s never too late. Our bodies change as we age, but they always have an amazing capacity to heal and adapt.

Menopause can also present with its own set of challenges for the pelvis.  However, no matter your age or stage of life, you deserve to thrive and feel awesome in your pelvis!

Client Testimonials

Thanks to physio I feel more in control of my bodily functions. It is empowering to take control of my physical body again… to know that there are things I can do to help my body.

The best part is that the exercises recommended to me take minimal effort, yet have such a significant impact on my quality of life. And that is what pelvic physiotherapy does… provides significant improvement in quality of life!

It is comforting to be provided with a safe and professional space to talk about topics involving such vulnerability.”

Your course has been so helpful! Other birth courses I’ve taken made me feel so overwhelmed and intimidated by the process and like I wasn’t doing (or even could do) enough to prepare myself for birth, but you presented everything in a way that makes me feel truly supported.

And as a bonus, I know my husband will actually watch the partner videos with me because they’re not lengthy and complicated – it’s the perfect course for both of us!”
