A 6-Week Postpartum Group for Mothers
The Nurture Circle
The Nurture Circle
There’s No Manual For Postpartum
We need community
Early motherhood and parenting is a time of profound connection and profound change. You and your baby are learning each other, while you’re also discovering a new version of yourself.
Plus, there’s no manual for postpartum. There are a million ways to raise a baby. What we need instead is community — space where your experience matters, your body and heart are tended, and connection becomes your anchor.
Come and be part of our village.

A 6-week, In-Person Gathering
The Nurture Circle is a 6-week, in-person moms’ group designed to support this tender season — nurturing both mother and baby, and building the connections every mother needs.
This is NOT a program prompting you to buy anything, or to keep up with the endless criteria for being the “perfect” mom.
Instead, it is a space to be seen, heard, and supported. Each week, we gather in a warm, respectful space to support one another’s journey, honor the real work you’re doing, and grow toward connection and resilience together. The Circle is hosted at the accessible Above Average Wellness yoga studio in Edmonton.
Here, babies are welcome, stories are welcomed with reverence, and no one is left navigating postpartum on their own.
What we’ll explore together
Each week, the circle is guided by a thoughtful theme related to postpartum health and matrescence, blending gentle education with conversation, reflection, and connection.
When mothers are held, babies are held too
In the early months, mothers and babies are deeply connected — emotionally, physically, and neurologically. Health during this time doesn’t belong to one or the other; it lives in the relationship between you.
The Nurture Circle is grounded in the understanding that:
- a nurtured mother nurtures her baby
- caring for yourself is part of caring for your baby
- healthy mothers and healthy babies grow together to build healthy families and healthy communities

Love For Moms and Babies
What You’ll Leave With
By the end of six weeks, many mothers leave feeling:
- seen, heard and held
- less alone and more understood
- steadier in body, mind and heart
- more confident in their instincts
- connected to a community of mothers
- equipped with the beginning of their real-life village
The Nurture Circle was created with the belief that maternal care is essential, not secondary. When mothers are given space to rest, reflect, learn, and connect, they are better supported to care for their babies
